I read about the air box vent, i have a 2-53 also and was wonder where on it was this vent tube located, because i can't find one on might and it is blowing oil out mt breather in the vavle cover someone told me to look for that air box vent but i can't find it on mine. any help would be appreciated.

I have a 440 that i replaced the blower on the old one had a oil return line in the end place next to the bellhouseing the rebuild one doesn't is this something i need to get milled in the replacement one or can i put the return in to a differant place on the motor. the line comes out of the head it...

I am trying to take the blower off of a 440 i have taken 6 bolts out of the front and 4 out of the sides but can't get the blower lose is there bolts that i am missing

my diesel 440 crawler/dozer made a rattle noise and then locked up. you can turn the motor backwards a little if has turned a quarter of a turn since locking up. are there any ideas or suggestions for this before we pull the motor out. just purchased the dozer and the motor was suppose to have less ...
