420c track tension springs
I have a 420c we use for trail clearing 20- 30 hours a year, runs great, We have been fixing neglected maintenance, we have been freeing up the track adjusters, both on one track have a broken spring about one turn from the end. Are these acceptable r should they be replaced? Thanks for any thoughts...

All the steels look about the same, on both sides, like they had some corrosion that was cleaned off leaving some pitting. It seems to be worse around the perimeter.

Yes exactly, the clutch discs look brand new, with the part number still on them, the picture does show the disc on top of a steel in the background. The steels all measure 0.095 +/- .001-.002, however they all have a funny texture to them rather then being smooth. I am thinking I need to replace th...

I bought a 420c several years ago, starts fine, good power, however the left steering clutch does not seem too disengage, I adjusted the throw-out bearing as far out as possible, still no release.
