Re: 350 crawler loader w/rockshaft, 4 in 1 bucket
Hi Lavoy- is this available? If so did you get some pics? I'm also wondering how hard it would be to convert to a hoe crawler if someone were able to get the hoe brackets for it. Thanks.

Re: JD 2010c Diesel No Start
There was a good thread on this site where we specifically discussed the primer pump and how to plumb for the 2010; you would have to do a search on here to find it if it still exists. Here is the discussion thread for those interested: http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3521...

Re: New to 2010 Crawlers
As mentioned do the adjustment. When you open up the inspection plate above the steering clutch housing to do the adjustment, you'll also be able to see what is going on with the steering lever linkage as well as the drum. Remember that with JD 2010 crawlers that the HLR (or in a few instances a con...

Re: sprocket inserts
We had a discussion about resurfacing 2010 sprockets in the past on here and at one point a former Deere employee shared some spec information from the original 2010 sprocket parts drawings. I want to say the tooth pockets were a Rockwell hardness of 45 but going by memory and what it would take to ...

As Jason said, that symptom is usually indicative of worn brake bands.

Re: sprocket inserts
Greg- new sprockets for 2010s have long been obsolete from Deere and as I understand it the foreign aftermarket suppliers have never bothered to make them, sprocket weld on rings or inserts for 2010s due to small demand as Lavoy indicated. There were some NOS sprockets floating out there but that wa...

Re: Backhoe for 450b
The 9500 has a closed center hydraulic system and I believe that the 450B is open center (although someone should confirm that). Some replumbing would be required to not cause a dead end in the pump assuming open center. I believe some of the valve blocks on some hoes can be reconfigured but others ...

Re: Backhoe for 450b
FYI, it may be the 95A but you better make sure it is in fact plumbed for an open center hydraulic system before you attach it to your 450B or you will blow your hydraulic pump or worse (i.e. sometimes people retrofit these for other applications)- 99% says it is what it looks like but my luck would...

Re: HLR slips
I am not sure if you have a dozer or loader attachment for your 2010, but many of the hydraulic systems (particularly for the loader cylinders) are isolated and from the HLR transmission with totally separate reservoirs. You can look at the "boxes" to each side of the seat pedestal and see if there ...

Re: help to find track tensioner for a 2010 track loadet
Hi Frozendozer- I have purchased an aftermarket track tensioner from Lavoy before my 2010 crawler loader and it worked fine (actually appears to be stronger than the original); however they do look very different so if you are only worried about function should be great but if you are looking at a r...

Re: 1010 Crawler loader diesel engine oil recommendations
I also don't think it is a problem to prime and then glow plug the engine- diesel is not near as flammable as gasoline so risk of an explosion without compression is low and the glow plugs are meant to turn on automatically with the ignition so it would be inevitable that you would glow after primin...

Re: 2010W Loader / Backhoe
Paul- You are correct about the gears on the dash mounted shifter- you should be stopped to shift them. The high and low on the floor shifter (the H-L-N-R) switch between each set of paired gears not just for 1&2 and 3&4. There is also a "tow" gear if you ever need to tow the crawler. To be honest I...

Re: 2010 wheel tractor ....
I bought a wheel tractor this weekend and decided to drive it home rather than go through the hassle of hauling it- of course the auction was only 4 miles from my farm. Unfortunately I learned pretty quickly what was wrong with the tractor by driving it those 4 miles but did get it home before it go...

Re: Found a 1010 or 2010 No data plate
Worth depends on a number of variables just like any other vehicle or piece of equipment such as condition, location, etc. However it is anywhere from scrap price for 4 tons up to upper four figures for perfect condition- typical worth is between $2K and $4K.

Re: Scared newbie - should I just sell it? How much?
I would take a breaker bar and see if the engine crankshaft will rotate- that will give you a pretty quick indication of how deep you may be into this crawler if you were to work on it. A "stuck" engine may not actually be stuck through as the spring-loaded torsional isolator behind the engine on th...
