I had the hyd pump drive off for my rebuild. I bought a cheap 13? spline shaft and cut it short. Then welded a very large nut on it. Easy quick and now I can turn the engine over with a wrench. Thanks Tim, Yes I think as long as they are kept painted and essentially sealed, they should last a good while. I would almost consider a 3/32 or 1/8 thick sheet of neoprene under the battery. Maybe even tool drawer liner with an open weave to breathe. Random thoughts to try and preserve.... Anyway,...
