Old subject but I am having the same issue, always adding transmission oil or the HLR stops working on incline. Always dripping out around the brake lever entry and cover on right side clutch housing. I am thinking about getting an new 3/4 square drive plug, tapping it and running a tube into a smal...

Having just purchased a 450C this week, one issue I ran into was very similar but to the right track. JD450C non turbo
s/n 450CC-203454T engine 4219DT 02 301525T
On a tractor this old, could be a drop in engine? Definitely no turbo. Rubber hose from under dash air box to intake. Not an overly loud tractor but it does not have any muffler.

First bit of confusion came when checking my S\N against the information on this site. 450CC-203454T puts it right at a 74 450 C. This site though sa...

Just learning about dozers, but my Kubota farm tractor came with a block for the clutch pedal so that if left for long periods the clutch friction disc won't rust onto the pressure plates. Wondering if there is a way to release the clutches on a dozer for long term storage (read long term to repair)
