That is great idea. I was thinking (if I had to replace umbrella seals again) of modifying some small food tongs (like for hot dogs) to put those seals in. And a cigar container (expensive cigar) might have worked to slide those seals on.

Again, my opinion, change the Fuel Transfer Pump first. It is easy compared to replacing the umbrella seals. After you do that check the oil for increased diesel in the fuel. (I replaced the oil in my dozer many times for accurate reading on diesel in oil.) I think,(and I would like to hear from oth...

You might need to replace the Fuel Transfer Pump. It could be source of fuel getting in your engine too. About $50. Suggest you do it before you replace the umbrella seals. The umbrella seals are part number T11290. You need 2 of them. They are very tricky to replace. There are some timing lines tha...

My mechanic has replaced the fuel injectors, fuel pump and seals on the shaft of the fuel injection pump. Still getting diesel in the fuel. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are both plugs over driveshaft used for steering clutch removal? I was told the one right above the driveshaft was used to fill the final drive. Thanks.
