Re: Locate main bearings source
Been waiting on those 1010 gas mains for a year and half now. I don't have many marbles left.

Re: 1010 Crawler Top Idler/Roller
Hmm, I've often wondered why my upper idler on the four roller was welded on. Now I know. Without an engine it doesn't matter.

Any parts hoarders on here have a set of standard main bearings for '61 1010 gas? I am in need of the rod bearings also.

Will a water pump for a 2010 gas fit my 1010 gas? They look identical. Water pumps suck!

Re: 450C rollers
Struck out at Wengers JIM B.
I picked up four that are in much better shape than ours off Ebay. At least I got to check them out before I bought them. I have plenty of boat anchors already!

jsal, Thanks but no thanks. I've found a couple used ones near by that I'm checking on today.
JIM B, no I haven't. I have heard of them but they never entered my mind. I'll check them out today.

Cutting Edge...I share most of what said about flail mowing. "Been there and done that". It has it's moments of shear pleasure and it's moments of shear hell.
