420C - Henry Loader / Backhoe

Moving this at request of wife. I think it's a 56', 420C 4spd, 5 roller, reverser, Henery Loader and Backhoe. Grousers, loader and backhoe are the best parts! Look at pics... if interested let me know. I just posted locally on CL. Missing dist. and carb. just like I bought it. I may be high on price...

430 with Fork lift attachement

Guys... this is pretty cool and has a vid to watch. I am not advertising this for sale at all... just came across it and thought it was a rare chance to see one in action so I thought I would share. I hope this is ok. http://cgi.ebay.com/JOHN-DEERE-430-CRAWLER-NICE-RUNNER-DRIVES-GREAT-792-/220694831...

I will dig into the trans and post some pics this week I hope. I am a little discouraged...but that is how things go. Is there a market for the grousers I have? When I had originally bought it I looked at it as a general sign perhaps it didn't have many hours on it. What do good sprokets look like? ...

:D ...I would love to run her around Lavoy...but she dosn't run either!! But you didn't know that. I hope you are right about the tracks though. The grousers show no wear on top...I would estimate I have an inch or more of ridge on each pad. The whole crawler sat for years before I bought it and has...

Guys...I love the pics of the restored crawlers on here and I look at my "treasure" ...or "junk" that my wife calls our crawler. Where does a guy start on one if you budget is limited? Should a guy work on the undercarriage and steering clutches ect..as I read once this is the main value area of a c...

I would venture to say your are close. I have one and would think 1500 lbs would be right. I do know if you have a 420C, henry backhoe, and henry loader on a 10K trailer with an 8% grade..and a partially plugged radiator you didn't know about, you get excited real quick!! I would love to see your ba...

Wow..and that is just parts...whew.. I remember you saying a year or so ago that a guy should figure $1000 per side. I really need to get mine off and see how bad they are. What kind of results have you had getting tracks that have been sitting loosened up? Any tricks to having good sucess?? As soon...

Lavoy, Makes sense now, I didn't realize you had another source besides mother deere. What have the parts from yourself ran in the past compared to deere? Also I know off topic a little, but anyone have a good source for a service manual resonable for a 420. I can trade parts manual pdf. file for on...

What Part Numbers exactly?

Lavoy, I have a 420 as well and am also concerned on the bushing and pins. Is the part numbers in question M2955T bushing, and M2956T Pin? Is it that deere still lists them but dosn't have any available? Just curious I realize it appears two and four bolt pads are different pins and bushing I think....

Your right, I have not had one apart, so I am just speculating as to the type and function. Didn't another member look into get these made? Lavoy have you heard of ITP for a source for undercarriage parts. I am supposed to be getting some info in the mail as to what they offer. Will share what I fin...

A Idea?

Call me dumb. But here goes. Could we make a bushing that would insert into the roller to bush the OD down to 2"?? A press fit brass or something? As I find the 2" are readily available and cheap. Joe
