i found 2 casting numbers - R72972 and R72973
also - there was a plate on the side of the engine
type was M53TF
ser # 162468T

does this match the fact that i think i have a 1965 machine?

hello. new to dozers, so i bought what i was told is a 450. there is a tag that sayd type is eith 15F3M or T5F3M. the ser number is 106540T on the engine - there are 2 numbers R72972 and R72973 Please - anyone with any id info - i would appreciate any help i an gonna buy some manuals, then gotta fix...
