Brush blade for 350

Thanks guys,
I really appreciate the input. There does seem to be some workable designs out there. Not much point in me trying to re invent the wheel!

Brush blade for 350

Thanks Digitup,
I was thinking a guy should be able to put something together from existing equipment that would work alright. With our pine beetle problems out here, it would be useful to have something to help clean up the deadfall. Any pictures you might have would be appreciated.

Brush blade for 350

Does anyone know of a brush blade available for a 350? I was thinking that something that could be attached to my 6 way blade would be a good deal.
Thanks........George

propane torch in the intake

How about not lighting the torch, just letting the propane gas suck in. Would it fire up? At least in the gas pots? It would solve the cold weather lack of vaporization of the fuel.

Great bunch of pictures, here's some from BC

I have been having fun in the snow too! I finally put some lights on the 350, sure beats holding a Mag light between the teeth! That's hard on the tooth enamel! It seems I hardly get a chance to plow my driveway in the daylight. Sometimes it just can't wait till the weekend. http://www.jdcrawlers.co...

I've had some success using a Dillon oxy-acetylene torch set to a carburizing flame (heavy on the acetylene side) and stainless rod. I used it to fix a crack in an intake manifold which I was able to do without even taking it off the machine.

Nope! Didn't know there was a set screw there! What type of driver do I need for it and what does the set screw hold? Should the tension ease off if I loosen the screw? Thanks Lavoy, I really need to get an operators manual! Hey I just put some operating lights on the 350 so I can plow snow in the d...

Suggestions for loosening track tension on my 350

After doing work on the right steering clutch. the track was tighened back up. It took a fair pressure on the gun to get it to move. It is too tight now and I would like to slack it off a bit. I have taken both the grease fitting and the bolt out and tried bumping the front of the track into a stump...

Two tracks better than one!

After using my 1965 350 for the last 6 months with only the the left side driving, I got one of my heavy duty mechanic neighbors to fix it for me. I have had the crawler for about a year now and the right steering clutch was getting continually worse. The machine had sat idle for about three years b...

Service manual for 350

The drive on the right side of my 350 dozer no longer works. When I bought it 6 months ago, I knew it was a little weak. Now there is nothing there. Very frustrating to get anything done, a lot of toing and froing! So now I'm going to bite the bullet and rebuild the clutches. From following the foru...

Heh Lavoy, glad to see you finally got the snow we've been sending your way! Ours is starting to go now, some of the frost is going out of the ground and I'm starting to make a little mud arround my millyard with the 350. I might have to wait for it to dry out a bit. We don't have to make our hills ...

That's quite a machine! What RPMs does the grinder turn? From all the cages around the operator it looks like there's the possibility of flying debris!
