Welcome, sorry to hear about your misfortune. Sounds like you have a couple things going on. The steep angle, then knocking in the low end with those estimated hours sure is suspicious for a spun bearing. Quite while oil is cold, louder as the oil warms. Stop now. Maybe the journal is still useable...

Well, I had the Dozer at a pretty steep angle because I was stuck. I eventually backed out of the hole after I heard a hiccup from the motor. It knocked intermittently on the way back to the shed.
