Re: repair manual

Welcome to the board. 1967 serial numbers were 042485 to 064992 so 056812 is a 1967. There is a listing of 350 model serial number on the FAQ Board. Also, on the FAQ board (down the list a way) is a post by Stan Disbrow listing the JD part numbers for manuals of many different crawlers. Lavoy Wilcox...

Welcome to the board.

I think you are looking for the same parts others have searched for. You should find some past posts about wire track 350s here.

If you add your general location to your profile, someone reading this might have an idea of a person or place you might check with for assistance.

Re: JD 350B Dozer Reverser Rebuild Kit

Welcome to the Board. Call Lavoy Wilcox (postmaster@jdcrawlers,com) at 701-361-1006 during CST business hours. His business is repairs of early JD crawlers, selling parts for them, AND he provides this site for our use. It's not fair to him to suggest other places for parts purchases on his site, un...

Re: '73 - 450B Crawler/Loader/Hoe Restoration

My 450E runs Hy-Gard in the finals. Hy-Gard is the replacement for JD's 303. As you are likely aware, there is no 303 oil on the market, made by any company these days meeting the outdated JD 303 formula, regardless of what they label it. As one gets into machines newer than your 450B, the sump beca...

Re: 350b engine blown. Need help!

Check out the two parts pages I linked from the online parts catalog for the 350B. Your bearing numbers show up in the remarks area for the item key number. JD dropped the T suffix, from most all part numbers, years ago. From other crank bearings I believe the FM prefix means those were made by Fede...

Re: NOS T20788 JD steering clutch

Good afternoon, hope you are doing well. Just to clarify for those reading this. T20788 is the drum for a 350 and 350 steering clutch and brake, according to the part number. Is that correct for what you have? That is a good price as it shows on my local JD dealer sight as being over $1500 now (if o...

Re: JD550 1979 6 way blade tilt cylinder removal issue

Welcome to the board. Your first picture shows a leaking right side angle cylinder, the tilt cylinder is the small one mounted cross machine, under the shield, at the top of the blade. You have a 6405 blade, same as the one on my 450E. In either case the answer on pulling the pins is the same. Unles...

Re: 350c tilt cylinder hose

You don't say, so I am guessing you have a 6305 blade and that one has the tilt cylinder barrel inside a "box". It has been years since I changed one but, if I remember right, you pull the pin(s). You may be able to do it by just pulling the bottom pin. I don't remember if there is clearance enough ...

Re: 1979 350C loader

Not much trouble shooting to that type of fuel gauge, compared to the electric ones. When you look in the fill opening, you should see the open end of a small tube looking up at you. You will want to make sure that tube is open. It is the tank vent, and the other end comes out through the bottom of ...

Re: 1979 350C loader

Welcome to the Board and congratulations on your purchase. It sounds like a good one. What did you get for a Book and binder? You should have the appropriate Operator's Manual and Technical Manual for the machine serial number. The technical manual should be JD # TM1115. The parts catalog part numbe...

Re: 65 jd crawler

Welcome to the board.

Several different pumps were used in different models. It would help to know the crawler, 350 or 450, dozer or loader, and pump size. The number you have posted isn't a JD part number for anything I can find.

Re: starter keeps turning

Unfortunately, without the right equipment you can't fully test starter components. It could have weak field coils or a bad armature. You can find online info on testing them that you can do with a voltmeter and ohmmeter. If you do a web search using the Delco part number, you can usually find a few...

Re: 1010 Radiator

Looking at the 1010 crawler parts catalog online, it appears they used 5 different radiators between a serial number break, diesel or gas, and reverser or no reverser. Some (re-cored/reconditioned) turn up doing a web search by the part numbers, but I don't know which one you need. And I can't say i...
