Re: Jd 550 dozer

287035 is a 1977 serial number according to the list of 550 serial numbers on the FAQ Board here. The current part number in the 550 parts catalog is SE501415. I don't have part numbers dormant of the aftermarket starter that are sold as "upgrades". When you say "Where can I buy one?" Are you asking...

Re: Jd 550 dozer

Welcome to the Boards. You will likely find your thread moved to the Late Models Board once a moderator sees it, as this Early Models Board is for the 2010s and prior machines. There are not many here with 550s and they may not have seen you post. I don't understand just what you are looking for as ...

Re: 550 type and what winch?

Welcome to the Boards. Your dealer told you correctly, with a gap between the 550 and the C, it is a straight 550. The C means it left the factory with a 6405 inside mount 6way hydraulic blade. Your serial number falls in the 1980 group according to the 550 serial number list on the FAQ Board here. ...

Re: 1010c repair in central Wisconsin

If a member is not from your search area it is going to be hard for anyone to give you any specific help. I can suggest you check with some local earthwork contractors. They might have a small shop and be able to do something during downtime or they may know of a shop that does such work. Ask your l...

Re: John Deere 350 hydraulic system pressure relief valve o-rings sought

I have gotten a couple things from PB&H. They are good guys. Thanks for the reminder, Leonard. The handle missing won't stop your pump from working unless the disconnect has opened. If you can reach in there and turn the pump shaft by hand or with pliers it has opened and likely why your hydraulics ...

Re: hey everyone, looking for some guidance

To be clear are you working on the engine clutch or a steering clutch? They all get adjusted with the tool, but some related answers to question might be different depending on which clutch.

Re: Jd 450 HLR wont move need part have pictures

Welcome to the Boards. I have posted what I have been able to figure out on Yesterday's Tractors, where you have been asking about this. Maybe one of the fellows here will have different/better info for you. The broken line appears to be the pump to accumulator line. Don't be surprised if you find y...

Re: hey everyone, looking for some guidance

About the only pressure plates I have rebuilt for years are the two stage ones on bigger tractors that cost a lot more. I know costs add up but a 420C pressure plate is not expensive compared to the ones I am used to, nor is a complete clutch kit. Springs can be weak, pins worn, etc. which can reduc...

Re: John Deere 350 hydraulic system pressure relief valve o-rings sought

069489 is a 1968 serial number. They were built in Dubuque so it should be a T after the digits.

Have you inspected the filter in your reservoir? You need to know the length of the one in it to get a new one as at least the bolt that secures it is a different length for each one.

Re: John Deere 350 hydraulic system pressure relief valve o-rings sought

There is one filter used, located in the reservoir. Two different length filter were used. You will need to open the hydraulic reservoir and see which filter you need. Different hardware is needed for each filter. The hardware can be changed so either filter could be used. I believe you will find it...

Re: John Deere 350 hydraulic system pressure relief valve o-rings sought

Do you have a copy of the parts catalog for the JD 350 Loader, PC926? you need that to find the part numbers for the loader attachment, including the hydraulic components on the loader, such as the control valve. As I posted before, T13132 as an adapter fitting on a 2010 tractor, not used on your cr...
