Re: Looking for large drum plug for top of trans.

Are you asking about the rubber plug, part number T20945, in the top of the clutch housing?

Or what they call a pipe plug in the transmission cover. Part number is AT13021, and it appears it includes the gasket with the plug for that part number.

Re: My JD450 is losing coolant

Get a cooling system pressure tester. Drop the oil pan and pressurized the cooling system. Watch for leaks around the pistons and liners. You could have leaking seals between the block and a liner, or a hole eroded through a liner wall letting letting coolant in onto a piston. The leak on the outsid...

With enough hunting you can likely find some that will work somewhere. However, it is easiest is to just make what you need.

Re: JD350 with 6305 6 way hydraulic blade. need C-frame bushing help

The C frame attaches to the lift frame using the #10 pins through the holes in the drawing that the pins are in line with. To my knowledge the lift frame does not have bushings in those holes. From what I see in the lift frame drawing there may be bosses welded to the lift frame at the holes, to thi...

Re: JD350 with 6305 6 way hydraulic blade. need C-frame bushing help

I don't have a 350 with 6305 to actually look at, just the parts catalogs. It appears pins #11 retain the boom (aka called C-frame by some) pivot pins (#10) and pins #12 retain the lift frame to the crossbar. The boom push arm pivot bushings (which lift frame Pins #10 go through) are shown as item k...

Re: JD350 with 6305 6 way hydraulic blade. need C-frame bushing help

I don't know what parts diagram you are looking at. The part numbers are visible in the online parts catalogs. I gave you a link to the 6300 blade catalog in one of your earlier threads where you were looking for bushings for what you thought was a 6300 blade. The 6300 is hydraulic lift only (unless...

Re: H2o error

Thinking about this. You say H2O error code. Is that the code for water in the fuel or something else? I don't know where the sensor for water is located. It might be in the fuel filter, not the separator, I know many on trucks are located in a fuel filter. Do you see wires to the filter or separato...

Re: H2o error

Welcome to the Boards. I wish I had an answer for you. Your 450J is much newer than most discussed here. Someone might be along with a first-hand answer for you. The best I can say is if your Operator's manual doesn't give you an answer, you are going to have to ask your dealer, or acquire the techn...

Re: Keep track pin in place

If you buffed the pin and link enough that it went in with a few taps from a hammer, I would be welding it.

Re: 2010C S/N 39994 fuel filter conversion

If your tank is clean and buy clean fuel you don't need to change fuel filters that often. If your tank is dirty and you end up contaminating your fuel you buy, you need to fix those things first, the problem will still be there with a spin-on filter if you don't. Someone may have a parts list from ...

Re: diesel fuel leaking into engine oil, JD450b

Have you removed the fuel lines from the mechanical transfer pump? If the lines are off it, it can't put fuel in the base. If the active fuel lines are still on it, the pump would be my first place to suspect a leak into the base. If the lines are off the transfer pump, the umbrella seals on the inje...

Re: Blade skid pad shoes?

Sorry but the shoes are not a "set it and forget it" control. Even with the shoes on the blade you are going to have to work the blade control. About the only place I have seen the shoes do much is on frozen ground. On frozen ground the blade will generally skim along, and the shoes only help preven...

Re: Service & parts manuals

Welcome to the Boards. The first thread on the John Deere crawler FAQ's Board here has a listing of 350 model serial to year break down for the different series of 350s. You will see your 350B serial number falls in the 1972 build year. The E means it left the factory as a diesel with an inside moun...
