jd 350
1966 jd350 track loader with power steering. Used it quite a bit last summer building a road on our property. Had to frequently add fluid (hydraulic) to the power steering reservoir. Could not locate any significant leaks in the power steering system anywhere until I checked the engine oil level and...

1966 straight 350
Hi Everybody I'm thinking of doing some preventive maintenance this spring on the fuel injectors. As far as I know, they've not been pulled out and cleaned since we' ve owned this machine ( almost 30 years) I'm no mechanic! My question is , can i simply pull these injectors out, replace the screen (...

Re: Steering cylinder removal JD 350
Hey Mxzfx4 Thanks for your previous advice. I found the panel between the track and battery box you mentioned. I never new it was there. I did get my steering cylinder changed. I took off the seat frame and that flat bar that helps supports the armrests of the cab. When all of that is out of the way...

Re: Steering cylinder removal JD 350
Lavoy do you remember whether or not you took the fuel tank, rops, etc off?
Mxzfx4 it sounds like you changed the cylinder without taking the fuel tank, rops off?
Still need more advice from anyone that's out there.
Thanks

Steering cylinder removal JD 350
1966 350 diesel loader with power steering I need advice on how to remove a steering cylinder. I started to try and remove the cracked left steering cylinder (as viewed from behind the machine facing forward). I went in through the small space between the fuel tank and the top of the transmission. I...

Radiator Flush?
Anyone out there have a reason why I should not use a standard 'radiator flush' product from an auto parts store on my 1966 JD350 diesel loader?
Thanks

66 350 diesel
I messaged a few weeks ago about changing fluids and possibly purchasing an old winch to install which lead to a lot of helpful suggestions. I just wanted to give an update. Engine oil and filter were changed , direction reversor oil and filter changed. Hydraulic tank drained and 1 filter changed an...

Re: PTO shift lever
Hey Stan what is this "trailing attachement" you spoke of. I would like the option to hook up a bush hog to the back of my 350.

I’m also confused about your manual telling you to use atf. Are you sure you’re looking in the correct manual?
