replacing power steering with solid shafts?
I have the power steering cylinders on my 350B, but have no pump or reservoir on the dozer. My question, should I leave them be or change them out for the solid shafts? There is a hodgepoge of pipes under the seat that I'm sure don't have any use. I'm not sure if it is safe to tear them out or not. ...

Re: rebuilding 350B final and reusing pressure plate
Yes, you're right, Lavoy. I've decided not to chance it and will be ordering a new pressure plate.
Thanks everyone for your replies,

Re: rebuilding 350B final and reusing pressure plate
Am I asking a dumb question, or has no one tried to reuse their old pressure plate? I hate to spend the money on a new plate when my old one seems in good shape, but I really don't want to pull the final again at my age (73). Lol

rebuilding 350B final and reusing pressure plate
I'm in the process of rebuilding a final on my 350B and plan on using the old pressure plate. My question is with the new clutch packs do I need to worry about redoing the adjustment on the pressure plate? I'm replacing the throw out bearing while it is apart too.
Thanks,
Ernie

Re: 350B right track stopped moving
Finally got it apart and the clutch disks came out in pieces. Lavoy, I'm sorry I didn't read your reply close enough, when I went to look at the parts listing it seemed to be all the older dozers. I've ordered all the parts I needed, but would have preferred to get them from you ….. next time. Repla...

350B right track stopped moving
New ( to me ) 350B while pushing dirt, the right track stopped moving. The brake works fine and that's how I got it home. ( Back up with the brake on to straighten the machine, then forward as far as I could …. then repeat.) I found the master pin, but someone has welded it to the chain. I've ground...

Re: PTO shift lever
Thank you for the information, Stan. You have answered my question. I really have no use for a PTO shaft on this dozer. I have the farm tractors for that.

Re: need Tachometer Cable for 350B
I found it, but on the left side( sitting in the seat). There is a hole, but nothing else. Storms here so I didn't try to see inside, but this has me concerned. The open hole could be letting dirt into the cam area? I could reach around and poke my finger in, but only felt some kind of a blocking. H...

PTO shift lever
My 350B has the PTO shift lever, but no PTO shaft. Did they come with the lever installed on all of them? Or did some prior owner removed the shaft for some reason?

Re: need Tachometer Cable for 350B
I have gotten a new tachometer cable, but now I don't see where it connects to the motor. I assumed it would connect to the injector pump housing, but I don't see where. The original cable is missing, so I can't follow that back. Anyone?

need Tachometer Cable for 350B
I need a Tachometer Cable (AT 18769 T) for my new, to me, 350B. Does anyone have a source? I have searched the forum and internet, but can't find anything.
