How much slack do you have in the control lever? The 1 that I just but on my 450C would not go to float, rebuilt the control lever (new bushing,links,rollpins ). Wow I had float. Thanks. I'm in agreement. Found out last night that my left lower roller frame is bent in about 1/2". Going to try to straighten that but will still have to shave a little off the pads.

I did mine a few years back. I blocked up the rear of dozer toward the center, then split track, removed final drive. Went by JD manual to rebuild, reinstall. Its been working fine ever since.

Hello All. New here on this forum, but I believe I can get some help. Did a JD 450C with 18" wide pads ever come with a 6 way blade? I'm trying to put a 6 way on my 450C, the angle cylinders are hitting the track pads. Has anyone here had any experience with this situation. Thanks for any help that ...
