Re: Pulling power 450c
I agree with B Town, if the tracks are free and the blade is up, you'll move it assuming it's not buried to the belly pan where it sits. My guess is that a 450 can exert a pull of 12k lb or better and even if the Cat weighs 30k lb, it doesn't take a 30k pull to move it. Let us know how you do with it.

Looking for an MC - WTB
I am looking for a good MC, doesn't have to be pretty or perfect, although those would be considered too! Somewhere in the Midwest preferred, I'm in the Kansas City area. Shoot me a note if you have one for sale.

Re: 40C All fuel running on 75% diesel
Basically, the engine is the same, the primary difference is the intake/exhaust manifold. In the case of any all-fuel tractor the exhaust manifold is designed to heat the incoming fuel/air charge such that a heavier fuel can be ignited by the ignition system. For instance, cold, liquid diesel fuel b...

Re: My 420C
I am thinking the same, my guess is a vineyard tractor since the crossmembers are cut off, better to get down the rows with and not damage the vines.

350 side cover and name plate wanted
I'm looking for a couple of small parts while fixing up my 350's: a right side engine cover plate and two of the metal John Deere name plates that are about 2 feet long. Pm me if you have em.
Thx

Ripper shank source?
I've just adopted a 350C loader with ripper to keep my 350B dozer company. As with a lot of these I see, it's nearly toothless. Anyone have a source for the shanks? Need two to make the lonely one feel at home.
Thanks!
