Re: 350B identification
The serial number may have been on the sales slip. Long gone although I remember seeing that document a few year ago and was amazed at the price we paid compared to equipment today. One thing that led to my confusion is that I thought the hydraulic assist steering didn't come along until the 350B. T...

Re: 350B identification
Wow! Thanks. I've been misled since 1973 when we bought the machine used from a dealer.
Around 1978 the dozer caught fire and was rebuilt by the dealer. Is it possible the seat frame was replaced from old stock? (I know that is a stretch).

350B identification
I've been trying to find the year of my old 350B. ID numbers I have on the tad located on the seat mount are T4F3D and 066244T. Engine is stamped with T26935.

Re: 350B steering/drive issue
Thanks Jim. I know I will be tearing this machine down again. When I do I will be buying new clutch fibers and metals. Although the replacements I used were miked the same as the disks in there.
Still interesting that adjustment and initial operation was as expected.

350B steering/drive issue
So, the left side quite driving. I been using this machine since 1973. Knowing the brake band needed resurfacing, I put the machine back in the shop dropped the track and proceeded to remove the final drive. Had brake band relined. Replaced throwout bearing. Replaced bearing carrier and sleeve. Clea...
