With the tracks adjusted to where they should be I still have 2-1/2" before I fall off the front nose which based on the rust on the adjuster Pistons must have been like that for the last 20 years, oh well.

Thanks for everyone's quick response I called the John Deere dealer for the OEM lubrication fitting for $5.00 Ea. At that price they'd better not blow back after installing grease. As far as the travel of the adjustment I'm sure the 41 year old machine has reached it's borderline. I have to make a c...
