This engine has sat for several years without oil flowing properly or running.

We do have a local diesel injection shop here. I called them about a preliminary pump rebuild price, which was $775 if it didn’t need a head.

That’s what I thought I had read on a different thread.

It is open though. So I guess that’s one thing eliminated.

I just found a used setup online cross referenced from E-bay. I probably paid too much for the assembly but I like having original parts that bolt right on. It was $135 shipped.

The filter they have replaced it with is a cheap $3 inline gasoline filter. Unfortunately the entire fuel filter housing/assembly is gone as well as the steel lines that it uses. I have dealt with those square filters in the past on other equipment, I don't mind them at all, but having trouble locat...

My little Yanmar tractor that I have was subject to someone using ether. Both pistons were cracked and had broken rings.

Where might I find the filter housing? It’s completely gone.
