Re: Jd350 track tensioners
Thanks guys for the replies. Another problem solved! On the newer style tensioner it was just a cover plug with standard zerk grease fitting under it. The old style tensioner was leaking out from the relief hole. I had loosened just a bit so the button head coupler would go over the fitting causing ...

Jd350 track tensioners
I’ve got a jd350 and had some questions on the track tensioner. I just got a low pressure grease gun & button head coupler to grease the rollers. My machine has 1 old style track tensioner with button head fitting. The other side has what looks to be aftermarket track tensioner part # PV303 or T1451...

Re: JD350 losing power after running 10min
Ok here’s what I found. Pulled the plug on bottom of tank drained some fuel & had a bit of debris/rust flakes but not to bad. Drained some more a second time and looked clean. Checked the shut off valve & seemed ok. Was opened all the way. Next I opened the air purge screws on top of filter housing ...

Re: JD350 losing power after running 10min
The filters, injectors, injection pump were all done after the injection pump failed and was replaced. Was running fine after injection pump replaced. I’m probably going to replace the filters again and drain/clean tank. I’ll check the lines & I read something here about some screens to check but no...

JD350 losing power after running 10min
I’ve got a JD350 that is losing power & stalling out after running for about 10 min. Runs good when 1st started. When it starts bogging out the exhaust starts smoking more. I let it sit for 10-15 mins & it starts again with good power but then shuts down again after 5-10 minutes. Straight JD350. Rec...

Re: JD350 fuel injection issue
Hi Stan You are right about those filters. In hindsight I wish I’d changed them 1st thing when I got the machine home. The 1st was really plugged with lots of sluge in the bottom bowl. The 2nd bowl wasn’t as bad but they definitely should have been changed long ago. The guy at the shop I’m working w...

Re: JD350 fuel injection issue
Update:
Pump removed and Shaft was broken. Sending to shop for inspection & rebuild.
Had to tap that bottom nut off with a flathead screwdriver.
Thanks for all the info on this site. Hopefully I’m 1/2 way there:-)

Re: JD350 fuel injection issue
Thanks Jim that makes sense about the WIX filters. I thought I’d gotten the wrong one.
Now my problem is the bottom nut on the IP mounting stud cannot be reached with any wrench I’ve got. There isn’t clearance to get anything on it due to location & pump housing being so close to nut

Re: JD350 fuel injection issue
Thanks for the info. I’ll check that return line fitting but it does seem to have fuel flowing in return line. I got the manual so I’m going to check it out this morning. Does anyone have part #s for the fuel filters in a Rosa Master housing? They have the holes on top but the ones on it have no #s....

JD350 fuel injection issue
Hi all, I recently bought an old JD350 dozer. Not sure the year as it doesn’t seem to have a SN plate. From what I’ve read in posts here it’s probably a 66-69 as it has the reverser lever on dash. Ran fine and everything seemed to work as expected but when running last week motor quit and won’t star...
