Re: Anyone familiar with throttle cable troubles ?

My 350B did the same thing and I just squired penetrating oil down the cable sheath from the lever end and it freed up. I have to do it every couple of months. Maybe because it is so wet in the Northwest. Going to try liquid graphite next time and see if it lasts longer. The woman I bought the loade...

JD 2010 for sale NW Washington

Sounds like there be be a few good parts on this machine. Maybe even restorable. Texted the owner and he thought the back hoe came off a JD 310 and is in good shape. If it was a 350 I would have bought it for parts. https://bellingham.craigslist.org/hvo/d/bellingham-john-deer-model-2010/7535214923.h...

Re: ROOSA Injector Pump Q / Berry Creek

I would also check the low pressure lift pump. I have had similar problems on fuel injected gas engines. Also had the exact symptoms on JD 300. Cleaned and changed the fuel filters and it still only run for about 5 minutes. Turns out my hand pump I was using to fill the tank was disintegrating and p...

Re: Which winch fits JD350B?

I don't have the drive shaft to the winch. Think I will have the guy selling it make some measurements and take a few pictures.
thanks again for advice

Which winch fits JD350B?

I have a JD 350B loader and am looking for a OME winch that I can bolt on without more than the usual amount of hassle. The parts manual says it should be a 3315 winch however I am talking with someone that claims the 3320 will also fit on a 350B. He also happens to have one for sale. Since he lives...

Re: Just an Idea, 350B dozer salvage

Wow that is an interesting wrinkle. The reason its pretty affordable to ship it to Bellingham is because the AK state ferry charges by the foot for trailers. Apparently if it fits it ships (USPS ad) and its about 2200.00 to send a trailer from southeast to Bham. The guy the that owns the crawler wil...

Just an Idea, 350B dozer salvage

I am looking at salvaging a 350B dozer from Juneau AK. A landslide pushed it down a hill and broke loose both tracks, destroyed the track tensioners and bent the blade pretty badly. Probably some other unseen damage to the undercarriage. Before the slide it all worked well and was use to yard a few ...

Re: Steering Clutch not disengaging

Thanks Leonard. The pressure plate set gauge arrived in the mail yesterday and indicated that the fingers were indeed set very low. I couldn't exercise them at all until I readjusted them. I took the disk pack apart and even though they weren't stuck together they had a lot of rust on them and the s...

Re: Steering Clutch not disengaging

I have removed the pressure plate and looked a the first few disks. They look fine. Nothing at all like my old JD 1010 that was a complete pile of rust and dirt. Going to have a look at the disk that should be behind the snap ring as mentioned . That sounds like it could be the problem. Like you sai...

Steering Clutch not disengaging

Part one: The right side steering clutch on my new to me 350B crawler will not disengage. The previous owner had just replaced the brake band before I bought it. It was not adjusted properly and engaged early when turning right. I lived with it for awhile and ran it that way for about 15 hours of ac...

Re: Counter weight removal 350B

Leonard thanks for the advice on the draw bar pin. It was covered in grease and dirt and hard to find. I used a piece of 1/8 in. flat bar and pushed the hair pin off. Of course the pin was stuck in place. What a poor design.

Thanks. Pictures helped. Good idea putting timbers down to skid it out on.
