hi, mine wasnt working aswell. The shaft (no 9 on the picture) was frozen and the pin (no 12) was broken. I made it work again. it took some heat and a new spring (no 8). I don't know if it helps with easyer starting for the engine but i know if the battery isnt strong enough i know it dit ist best....

Need info on my new to me army winch
Hi I´ve bought a winch from the USA army in an auction. I thought it was an hydrolic winch. It aint. Shoult have taken a look before bidding!!! Anyway i was thinking of putting it on my jd 350. hi, I live in the Netherlands and i have a 3 cilinder diesel 350 dozer. it has a Bosch injector pump. at last i have done som digging!!! I never droven a dozer before but i worked om my 350 diesel for 4 years, Rebuilding 2 steering clutches, did my share of rust work, learned myself to weld, connected the new hydrolic hoses and made some frozen shafts loose. Hi, Thanks for the info, Everyting went well until i pumped in the grease. I thought i was on the richt track here but on the back side there was a little hole in there?!?!?!?! Why is this here? Hi I have the 'bolt' analysed for the pulling force. (I had to ask it to my lovely girlfrend who is a student at an university.) I hope that's not a standard piece of threaded rod you're sticking in there. That thing gets a lot of tension on it when assembled, and is dangerous. Hi, I had my track tension spring unit dammaged when my track was thrown off. The bolt is bent. It was a nice struggle to get it all loose. Those nuts don't like a bent bolt. Hi, Because 3 rollers on te left side are leaking i have decided to put in grease. I have 5 rollers done.
