My 350 crawler loader had a miss develop very soon after I bought it. I replaced the fuel filters, delivery pump, and injector in the cylinder that was not firing. Turns out it was lack of compression! So now I’m in the process of doing an in-frame rebuild.
Good luck!

Re: JD350 crawler loader engine
Engine is finally coming apart! Oil pan is off, not much to see there. Only #2 piston is sloppy in the bore and was not firing, lacking adequate compression as fuel delivery was okay (new injector). JD350 crawler loader engine
My search for a decent machine is over. Found a JD350 right nearby. Good tight undercarriage, big backhoe attachment, easy starting, no smoke, etc. But about one hour of light use and the engine blew! Centre cylinder has lost compression, moderate tapping noise. I changed out the lift pump, fuel fil...
