I looks like the blade support loosened up at one point in time and whoever owned the old girl just kept pushing dirt. And then broke out the arc welder to keep her running.
Well here's a closer look at the somewhat cresent shaped track tension spring. I didn't notice it until I took the cover off it and pressure washed the six inches of dirt out of it. I got one coming from Crawler Heaven

Well here's my new toy, cost me $1500 dollars and a few bucks in gas to haul her home. My 1 ton Dodge hauls her real well and this is a plus!! Started to tear her down a few days ago.
