Ok well that helps, the gap is suppose to he there. Second thing my hood has no latches so that explains the tabs holes i was seeing that made me think a panel was missing. Now where the heck do i find some latches?
Thanks Randy

engine cover question
I have a 350C. What is supposed to go between the hood and the engine side shields? There is like a 4 inch gap between the two? I see some mount tabs.
Thanks, RandyI

Re: JD350c cutting edge
Thanks for the reply. Its not a 4 way bucket, didnt realize there was options beyond that. I was going to get weld on shanks that the teeth pin too so i could relace if i broke one.

JD350c cutting edge
I need to replace the cutting edge and teeth on my JD 350C, my local steel supply shop stocks cutting edge in a couple of widths. What is the stock width on a 350C, mine is worn pretty badly?
Thanks, Randy

Re: power beyond hydraulics
how come the power beyond fitting is so large compared to the inlet of the valve block(discharge if the pump), i would think they would be the same size since the inlet would be the limiting factor for flow?

Re: '73 - 450B Crawler/Loader/Hoe Restoration
Update: After much deliberation I pulled the trigger, ordered the SALT chain, new track pads, lower rollers, upper carrier and front idler for both sides ($$ ouch! $$) buy once, cry once right? Would you mind sharing the total undercarriage price? Tracks, rollers & sprockets. I have a 350C I would ...

Re: power beyond hydraulics
Thanks for the help guys, that clears things up. Now i just have to figure out the plumbing to my new valve block, that power beyond fitting is huge, approximately 1.25 or 1.5 inch. Prior owner used pipe fittings to make the loop back to the tank when removing the backhoe, i would like the piece of ...

Re: power beyond hydraulics
After digging for info on the internet, it looks like a open center spool valve is the type that constantly allows pump discharge to flow to the return tank, correct?

Re: power beyond hydraulics
Hey Jason thanks for the reply, I got the parts from you installed so my aux valve can run my 3 point. But then I decided it would be nice to have a 3 point log grapple attachment which would necessitate another spool valve block. So from your reply it sounds like if I take that power beyond line to...

power beyond hydraulics
I would like to add an additional spool valve block to my 1982 350C. I think my crawler had a backhoe at one time, and I’m trying to figure out the power beyond hookup off the original spool valve for the bucket. On the side of the aux block there is a large hose coming off the bottom that loops bac...
