Re: staight 350 doesn't move

Think hes referring to the coupler between the reverser and transmission. I have seen them strip out.

Re: Question about crawler 810-820

Those are the loader models. 1010s used a 810 loader, 2010s used a 820.

John Deere 1010

1964 John Deere 1010 with outside power tilt blade and reverser. Has a new manifold, carburetor, muffler, wiring, coil, gauges, battery, fluids, and filters. I also replaced(with good used) 9 bottom rolls, both front idlers, one top roll, both sprockets, and the steering clutches. It was originally ...

Most of the ones I have worked on had treads on the bushings so you could tread a bolt into them to remove them. I never had any luck getting them out, ended up unbolting removing a final drive to get that drawbar support off.

Yes they will interchange. I have done it. Flywheel from a 1010 will bolt to a 2010. You will have to swap the water pumps around as the plate that they bolt to is different.

I have a couple of the early 1010 radiators where the cooler is separate from the radiator and I think I have one later model where the cooler is built into the bottom. I try to get 100 for them plus shipping. The early ones are in good condition but the later one would need to be recored. Andrew

I have one and it works great. Well worth the 30 dollars. I usually go through 5 or 6 of the conventional tips a year. Been almost a year on this style and still works good.

I used to have small crawlers around, but I got rid of my JD 550 last fall because of my tracked John Deere skid steer. Its faster and I can do a better job with it. I use it for everything, land clearing, road building, stumping, driveways, etc. It doesnt like mud or snow but is a tank if it can ge...

Sense you have the radiator off just take the front housing off. There is only 4 bolts that hold it to the engine. The yoke and shaft should come out with the housing.

I still have that dozer and will send you some pics of the tilt if you email me. As far as I know Deere never offered factory tilt on those blade assembly's, but the guy I got it from did a really good job making it look factory.

John Deere 550

1978 John Deere 550 with 6way blade and winch. Showing 4,060hrs. Front idlers and rolls are good, chain is stretched but never had it come off and it needs sprockets. New brake bands, seat, and some work has been done to the 6way to fix some of the slop. Bought a John Deere tracked skid steer and I ...
