The valve is the same as the one in the picture, a rotary valve. I guess I should do a pressure test, that might tell me if it is the rotary valve. Also I need to get a manual from Lavoy. I will check the serial number the next time I go to the farm. Thanks

I think I posted this on early model instead of late model support. I have a 3325 winch that won’t stop turning the drum. I’m not sure if it has a rotary or spool control. Thanks for sharing your story, I have a 450 c with a flip lock, I’ll make sure it’s always engaged when I get off the dozer. Hope you get back to normal and back on the 450. We must think of safety on any machine.

The winch drum turns as long as the dozer engine is on , Constantly winding the cable in. As far as control valve, it’s a small box on right side by the oil filter. My 450 c has a winch that constantly runs, it won’t turn off. I changed the oil and cleaned the screen.
It always run great but sits a lot. Any ideas ?
