I sent you an email too. Henderson Mfg lists a 350 sprocket rim on their website, I don't know if it's available. I came to the conclusion that switching would be about $3,500 too. I'll take you up on those 440 rails! :D I'll replace the pad bolts and refurbish the pads. My left track has 36 and the...

Well, that won't work. The 2010 has 39 pads.
I took the left track off the 440 and inspected it. There is not much to work with anymore. The rails are only 2 7/8 inches high. The bushings are worn through. At least I know what I have to do.

I guess you never pay close attention until you have to.

36 links on the left
35 on the right.....

I have to measure the links but I think they are very far gone

It's a 5 roller bottom

Mickey was here. He's every where - =8^)

Thank you! I'm going to see what it would cost to change to 350 tracks but truthfully the sprockets are not badly worn or asymmetric so it may be better to pin and bush. It's a farm machine that isn't going to see tons of time. I have an early 2010 here that I still need to fix and I may borrow the ...

I would send them to you but living in Maine I have no idea what the shipping cost might be. It might be worth it though…

440 ICD Pins and Bushings

The pins and bushings on my 440ICD are shot. The track adjuster on the left is way out and I can barely keep the track on. Plus it has some serious snaking. I called Nortrax to see what it would cost to re-pin and bush the rails. They said IF I could get the pins and bushings then the labor would be...

2010 Final Drive Pinion - WANTED

The left side pinion shaft outer bearing seized and spun the bearing on the shaft chewing the heck out of the end of the shaft. I am looking for a serviceable shaft and bearing cover too.

2010 Backhoe for sale in Maine

Someone on Craigslist is selling a backhoe fro $1,000. Pics are lousy but if that's original paint it's probably decent, a lot better than mine which is really worn and loose. I don't need more iron or I would get it.

2010 Disappointment...

I finally decided to rebuild the left steering clutch and started to disassemble today. When I pulled the final drive pinion shaft cover I discovered that the bearing was toast and had chewed up the cover and the pinion shaft. I pull the whole final and see what other damage there is. I am going to ...

Lavoy, Unfortunately they didn't do the work. The crawler was a trade on a new tractor. I can call again to see if they will give me the farmers name or the name of the shop that did the work. What is the difference between 1010 rails and 440's? ie. how did you know? Bill, I live in Eastern TN, the ...

440ic - found one - Questions..

I called about this JD440 for sale. It's gas, 3pt, PTO. UC is 60%, pins apparently not ever rotated. Final drives have been rebuilt. Original paint. They wouldn't go under $6,000. It's almost 600mi from me so I have to ship it. Comments? I could certainly use the 3pt and pto... Thanks, Charley <a hr...
