Doing an oil change on a 440 John Deere bulldozer. Is it okay to use o w20 high mileage full synthetic?

I have a 440 John Deere bulldozer. Needs a battery. Any recommendations? It's 12 volt system

I have a stuck steering clutch on a 440 IC. It appears to be adjusted all the way out. I backed the brake adjustment off, and can feel it pushing on the fingers, but it won't release. Thanks for the heads up. Didn't know that because I just left that alone when I took the carb off(all three or four times) It probably is jammed up.

I just bought one at harbor freight. It says 4500 PSI. There is a condenser inside the distributor. The starter is being rebuilt 12 volt. He just called me said it was done and I asked them about that. He said they would change it to 12 volt. It was 6. I guess that's why I burn it up so easy. I unde...

I assume the starter is set up for 12 volt already. They're rebuilding it the way it is. book recommends 140 oil for idlers and rollers. I checked a couple of the rollers and they had oil in them. was anxious to use it so didn't bother with them. I guess I will have to get a low pressure grease gun....

It's 12 volt. And yes I changed the oil before I even started using it. Didn't notice anything

No, I haven't moved the distributor. Was just second-guessing myself on the way the plugs were hooked up, after I took them both out and clean them. The wires were laying crossed. So I hooked them back up where they naturally laid. It was running fine until I ran out of gas. The bulldozer was vandal...

Yeah, I am going to hook them up opposite of what the picture is showing when I get my starter back. I was just trying to eliminate that as a problem of it not starting, if it doesn't fire up right away with new plugs. I'll let you know how it goes

Can't figure out how to put a picture on here. One wire is closest to the oil filter. The other wire is on the outside edge, between me and the coil wire

Pretty sure the distributor was put in 180 off. When I went to replace the plugs, the wires were laying crossed. Looking at the distributor, my wires are coming off of the cap on the outside edge of the cap closest to me. The blank holes are towards the motor. The hot wire is also on the opposite si...

I just looked at the distributor again. The hot wire connected to the distributor is opposite side from the pictures in my manual
