Re: 450 straight clutches/brake adjustment?
Well I worked on it today and think I got it right. Just wondering once it's all done should there be any space between the brake adjusting bolt and the lever?

Just want to confirm when it says for adjusting free travel is that done at the yokes on the power steering cylinders that are connected to the levers? Also where are the yokes for the brake rods that ar...

Re: 450 straight reverser oil change?
So the reverser is part of the transmission oil system? Reading around it sounded to me like it was a separate unit. There was mention of a dipstick in front of the steering controls under the Air filter housing. I've got a Deere service manual.

450 straight reverser oil change?
Anyone know how to change the oil in the reverser and what oil is used? Manual not very helpful. There's no issues with it just doing some maintenance.

Re: Rotary swing leaking?
Thanks Jim. Ya mines a model 93 I'm pretty sure. Problem us there's no tag on the attachment but I did find a small 5 digit tag on the rotary cylinder itself. If I remember right the differences in the models is some are fixed while others have a mount that allows the backhoe to be slide from side t...

Re: Rotary swing leaking?
I find it is never just an o ring, you'll need to repack those cylinders, assuming it's coming from a cylinder and not a hose or fitting. The only special tool you need is to get the gland off, once you have that they are fairly simple to rebuild and parts are readily available. Here is one tip if ...

Re: Rotary swing leaking?
Thanks for the info. I'm hoping it's just an o ring. Where would I source parts for it? Would a model 93 be the same as the 9300?

Re: What to do with backhoe hyd. hoses?
So am I right to say that if I connect the hoses and the loader doesn't work then it has a bypass valve and the lines need to be left disconnected?

Re: What to do with backhoe hyd. hoses?
Would it do any harm connecting them together if it does have a diverter valve?
