Does this mean the clutch pack has to come out to repair or if it is a seal can it be replaced through top of transmission?

Purchased a gauge to adjust clutch and test transmission. If I recall the service manual says to place both transmission levers in neutral and run engine at low idle then then turn nut clockwise until pressure maxes out then starts to drop, then back off a few rounds. Ok I finally rounded up a pressure gauge and performed test on transmission. Had same pressure in all ranges except high. The gauge read 130 with engine revved up. I added 3 shims to raise the pressure to 165. Read 80 at low idle. Still nothing in high range. Low works great and shifting in reverse ...

Thanks for the advice. Have manuals and will do pressure test. Thought I might tackle the job if clutch pack could be removed from top of transmission but since engine has to be pulled I think I will get a quote from repair shop although I know it is going to be expensive. I have a 450E crawler that is having transmission troubles. The high range has begun to slip under load and once fluid warms up reverse shifts slowly but does not slip. Low range works fine. I changed oil and filter. The screen was covered with fiber chips. I assume this is from the clutch pack disk...
