Re: Electrical issue when starting

Thank you, would this explain why it doesn't do anything after the first attempt, but does after remaking the battery connection?

Re: Need pictures of back of 1010 crawler loader hydraulic quick connector for backhoe

If it is a hoe capable crawler, there will be 2 large lines coming from the diverter near the valve body. If it is not a factory hoe crawler, there will be no lines or diverter. Electrical issue when starting

I have a 1963 JD 1010 crawler. It's having an issue where I can turn the key to start it, the starter acts likes it's going to engage, then immediately stops. 1. If I turn the key again, nothing happens. 2. If I disconnect the battery and reconnect it, I can repeat the issue. 3. If I jump directly f...

That was it! Removing the starter and putting it back in did the trick. Thanks!

1010 Crawler Loader no start after using jump box

My 1010 crawler loader was having trouble starting. I suspected a drained battery so I used a jump box. Now it won't turn over at all, but it seems to be drawing current from the battery. I suspect the voltage from the jump box was too high for the ole girl. Before I rip it apart and guess what it m...

Re: Plumbing a 93 backhoe to a 1010 crawler loader

Thank you. I looked again at the serial number and it's actually an E0093 model. I searched for that and found the parts list. Looks like I need to review it more for things to click.

Plumbing a 93 backhoe to a 1010 crawler loader

I have a 1010 crawler loader and found a 9300 (edit: nope, actually it's a 93) backhoe attachment for it. From what I've read they mount together and my measurements confirm this (although the hoe is heavy so I shouldn't drive the crawler around much with it on). I just brought the attachment home a...

Re: Steering lever broke

Using your suggestions I welded it again. Seems to be holding fast. Thanks Lavoy!

Do you have any pictures? Does it run well enough to drive onto a trailer?

Steering lever broke

TL;DR - right steering lever broke at the steering shaft and I need a good solution or replacement lever (pn T14254 T). I purchased my first crawler last week - a JD 1010 Crawler Loader and I love it! Happy to become part of the club. Here we are coming home for the first time: https://i.imgur.com/I...
