Winter has finally arrived in this part of the country, I will not be doing anything to the 1010 until warmer weather arrives.
I have enough to do with keeping a snow removal fleet operational.

I have a good-sized plasma, love it, but no cnc. "Thinking outside of the box", yea, reminds me of the cat d4 my buddy had with a Buick v6.
I was hoping that the 1010 deere engine had a bell housing pattern that matched up with somethong else.
I have a 2-71 detroit from a parted-out Allis HD 5.
I may try building an adapter.

Hello, first post on this message board. Was just given a 1962 jd1010 diesel loader,w/ pin on hoe. I recall seeing this machine run in 1975 or '76. No proof of it running since then. Stack was uncovered for many years. I am planning on the worst, that the original engine is past its use. I understan...
