Re: parts for #1100 integral tool carrier
I dont have any of the "screw" parts. If I knew what the trunion block and trunion looked like, I'm pretty sure I can build back from there. The parts list only shows a square hole in the end of the arms, which I have. If anybody has one that they can get a decent picture through the access hole, th...

Re: parts for #1100 integral tool carrier
I have a copy of the parts list PC400. You are right, it yielded NO results. Obsolete numbers. I was hoping that somebody had one laying around that was otherwise trashed and would not miss the leveling device and hardware. Come on JD fans.

Re: parts for #1100 integral tool carrier
Thanks, where are they listed as " common" and how do I get a hold of them? I need the adjusting screws, the whatever block that attaches the screw to the arms, and whatever bearings, nuts and connecting pieces that go with them.

parts for #1100 integral tool carrier
I have a 40C crawler with a 1100 tool carrier with a dozer blade. On each push beam there is supposed to be a leveling screw. I don't know why, but mine has none on either side. Someone before me decided to "fix" the problem by just welding the shaft to the housing which now is broken loose and one ...

I dont know for sure if this is the correct place to put this, but here goes.

Just fishing for now but would like information on availability and ballpark price.

fan belt help
This is somewhat off topic but here goes. I am working on a 1942 Caterpillar R2 with electric start and generator. Caterpillar still offers the fan belt, but no longer sees fit to have a belt for the generator. The Cat # is 5B 243. 1 1/16 X 38.5 I was wondering if this would cross to anything you wo...

Re: oh boy
Thank you VERY much for the information. It is exactly what I was looking for. I will have a lot better understanding when I start to work on it for real. Interesting about the hyd relief valves. I think that is where I am having a downpressure problem. I have the manuals for the tractor already. On...

Re: oh boy
wow! IF you can see the picture, I need iformation/parts blowup/etc on this blade. Model 1100 toolbar. Is there some sort of crank that goes in the top? I took off the little plate and there is nothing inside that I can see. Where the draft arm meets the tool bar, it has been welded at one time. Why...
