Thanks for your comment. And thank you for this forum. It is very helpful. It is all back together and the hydraulics are more responsive. The pump clearly was having problems before it lost a seal.

JD1010 Hydraulic Pump replacement
Front Pump lost a seal on the JD 1010 with loader and backhoe. I think shaft is worn and want to replace the pump for now. The pump that was on it was a CESSNA PUMP 24509-LAK that appears to be re-stamped LDK. I think the specks for this 1010 Crawler Loader/backhoe require 23.2 GPM @ 1,800 RPM based...
