Thanks Jim The job went very well,I changed the 4 rubber T joints but I had difficulty with the O clamps which are not well placed.I also changed the return line.The old one was melted shut,it must have touched the block or the exhaust.I ran the dozer and there were no leaks. Jim Thanks The return line comes out at the bottom of the fuel tank and the line is unobstructed just to the 4th Tee.Will there be any fuel coming out of the return line from the fuel tank when I connect it to the 4th Tee. Thanks Bearchopper

Jim you were right the 4th Tee had a fuel line attached to it and appears to be made of a hard plastic tubing of 1/4 in which had melted closed and is connected to the fuel tank.I would like to know if I cut this fuel return line will the fuel rush out before I connect a metal 1/4 metal fuel line to...

Thanks Jim I will order 3 more T in rubber and try and locate the return fuel line that returns to the fuel tank.I do not know why the previous owner plugged up the last T closest to the fuel tank.Thanks again Bearchopper

Jim B I checked the manual and you were right on,the starter and alternator are 12v and I do not understand why the previous owner put his 2 12v batteries in series.The manual states when is is very cold you can install 2 12v batteries in parallel for easier starting but NO mention of series putting...

Today I checked my 2 12volt batteries and they are in series which should give 24volts,my question can I use a 12 ignition switch also is it suppose to be in series Thanks Bearchopper

My JD450 has an open and close switch and a start button,I want to keep the start button but install an ignition switch with a key,do I need a switch 24volt because I have 2 12volt batteries or will a 12volt do the job Thanks Bearchopper
