Not sure but I’ll definitely ask him. There were two different part numbers for this shaft depending if the serial number is before or after a certain number. Mine was the higher one.

Discontinued 2001 455G Transmission input shaft
My local John Deere parts dealer told me that a JD 455G transmission input shaft is obsolete. Does anyone by chance know where I can find one?

2001 455G Transmission input shaft
New to the group. I’ve got I believe a 2001 455G track loader. A few weeks ago I broke the universal joint between the hydraulic pump and transmission AND the transmission input shaft. The shaft broke off just inside the transmission where the outside snap ring was. Does anyone know if this shaft ca...
