I do indeed have 4A and 4B. I'm not sure why; 4B is deep enough that the shaft would not bottom out without 4A.

My new to me Dozer is leaking from the transmission rear cover. It is leaking from the PTO/Winch output cover gasket and one of the ears is broken off the cover. Nevermind. Got it. Just have to push the gland end in after taking the nut off

How does the gland end (rod guide?) come out of the angle cylinder? The nut came off the end surprisingly easily with a spanner wrench and I assume there is a snap ring in there somewhere but I don't see any holes for snap ring pliers. I have the loader service manual but not the dozer.
