I don’t think my grand kids “like” the dirt but are ok with it. When we are done their parents want them in the shower first thing.
When they come to visit without mom and dad we have different rules. More than anything they like to go fishing. I am ok with that.

Knob on the top is on a 59 440ICD
Knob on the bottom is from a late 60 440ICD.
Bottom line is if you put it in 2nd and it goes in reverse it has the wrong knob.

I took the blade attachment off the 440IC 831 and put the bucket back on. Time to move some dirt.

Being able to have the grandkids come and play with grampa’s toys has been great. Telling my wife that the equipment was for the grand kids worked for a while. Not so much anymore.

I had to put the 410 backhoe loader in the shop for some work so the blade attachment came off the 440 IC 831 and the bucket went back on.

Yes the groove goes towards the cage.
