I did some looking online and see some that are similar in design. So lots of options. The 440IC 831 has a big hole in the side of the block so it will be awhile ...

Well I stopped by the JD dealer today and they say not available. Darn I had high hopes. I have a few pieces of old cutting edge, I think l will try welding a piece on. If any of you come across a used tooth let me know.

Problem solved. I was looking up U 10779 instead of U10779. I will order the tooth from the Pape dealer.

Thanks Jim I had checked online with the nearest RDO farm dealer and the next nearest Pape construction dealer. And didn’t find it.
I will call the Pape dealer on the phone.

Thanks for the information / advise. I am not planning to go into business, just having fun in retirement. A few shirts a few decals, push some dirt and listen to the little jimmy scream.
Studebakers are my other bad habit. They used 3-53 and 4-53 GM/ Detroit Diesel engines also.
