Re: Cowl removal form a JD 350C
Thanks for everyone's comments. Especially LeonardL. We found out that I have the original wear straps that were thick and recessed for both bolts, JD soon changed after much negative comments from JD service tech's. They just weren't well thought out. dtoots was on the right track suggesting cuttin...

Re: Cowl removal form a JD 350C
Thanks for reply. I hadn't but I did try a few now. The wrenches I tried are too thick to fit into the recess as well as not deep enough offset. I have Craftsman, Husky and some others but no major mechanic brand names but mine all have similar thickness to the wrench. I'm looking for a thinner deep...

Re: 1966 350 Diesel starter question

It seems most decent size cities have several shops that specialize in rebuilding alternators and starters. I can't remem...

JD350-C running issues
I just bought a 1978 350C with a 6-way blade. I bought it with the understanding that it needed a lift pump. I replaced the lift pump as well as the fuel filter. The engine would only run a few seconds and die off. I decided to change the solenoid in the injection pump. I did this today, at first th...
