Re: 350c radiator replacement
Ok I will measure it and try to cross reference and size it- thanks. So I got mine back- the shop repaired 2 small cracks in the top tank the best he could (said he would chase his tail fixing it if he did it proper and then it would just fail) he then added shop stop leak on the bottom tank to stop...

Re: wet spot rear right sprocket
you are awesome- correct- same wire deal, I have been in dirt and woods but not fencing. I thought I had pulled it out before but when I saw the wet, I found more on the backside..... i haven't noticed anything while i ran it but maybe the dirt wasn't powder dry to show it? thanks for the link- and ...

wet spot rear right sprocket
so the machine is parked on sheets of plywood so I could pull the radiator instead of being on dirt. I noticed a fluid puddle under the machine right at the sprocket area and wire spooled around the shaft. I got the wire out and now i am looking for diagrams to see what happened and what's wrong. an...

350c radiator replacement
anyone no of where to buy a replacement radiator?
the repair shop said the estimate to recore mine would be $900 to $1100 and he advised agaist this as the tanks conditions left a lot to be desired. it looks like the prior owner put several patches on it and non of them good........

Re: JD350 Loader Radiator remove/replace
So I finally got around to removing the radiator, you were correct the 4 belly pan bolts and the 3 (#20) bolts from each side and the HEAVY nose cone pivots forward-
Now to drop it off at the repair shop and see……..

Re: Grease zerk fitting size
i bet you are correct-
3/4" length
i have never used/seen a button head so this makes more sense now-
thanks i will try one of them.
i took the fitting out and cleaned it and the ball seemed to work but once i put it back on and tried it was squirting out again so it definitely isn't ok....

Re: Grease zerk fitting size
The zerk side is likely 1/8 but not the thread size-
The book says item 10 is jd7828fitting 1/8”x3/4”
I looked up this part number and it shows as a button head zerk- not what is on the machine or anything I have ever seen-

Re: Oh boy, need a lot of track help
I blocked up under the rear with 6x6 blocks under the draw bar and then used the bucket (teeth down) to lift the front up- the front raises up till it hits the rear blocking allowing for the machine to be blocked in the air to release any weight/tension on the tracks-

Grease zerk fitting size
Does anyone know the size of the grease zerk in the track adjuster? I put my track back on and tightened it and noticed after pumping grease into the zerk it was weeping back out slowly thru the zerk nipple, after letting it sit a few days I moved the machine and the track loosened and when I looked...

Re: JD350 Loader Radiator remove/replace
the cowling is the "nose cone" in front of the hood that the grill is inserted in.
my understanding is the hood comes off and the cowling needs to come off to get the radiator out?
i am not sure what steps are required for the cowling (where the bolts are)
