Yes the new style seal. I did not use the correct tool. I did try to borrow or rent one from john deere with no avail. I ended up using the flywheel to press it in. It has a lip that matches up with the seal. Could be a good chance it didn't work though. Probably be pulling the engine this winter

Yes I replaced all fluids and filters when I bought it. I have the manuals and I'll be using them for the rebuild. I'll look into the HLR while I have it all apart. Well I'm rebuilding the motor. It has coolant in the oil pretty bad. While it is out I will replace the throw out bearing. Should I go ahead and replace clutch and pressure plate? Hopefully it takes care of the howl in reverse. Anything else I should replace on engine While it's out? Thanks
