I will have to go gauge it again. If my memory serves me right i checked it before and it was real close to my gauge. (I made a gauge pattern from a new sprocket a few years back)

Steering Lever on a 2010

I want to throw something out there. The right lever has an easy pull for disengaging and then applying the brake. The left lever has considerable more resistance doing the same. I just got done rebuilding the left side. Both the levers appear to disengage and apply the brake at the same distance of...

You don't have a plate on the left side around the bell housing do you?
If in doubt do like Tiger said, check part numbers. Fortunatly it seems that what you would call a casting number also doubles as the part number.

I ended having to cut the bolt into on the assembly I pulled out of the parts crawler. Darn if i wasn't surprised how much tension is on the sring assembly even when it is out of spec. When I got the bolt cut through it sent crap everywhere. Anyway I was able to make a good rebound spring ou...

I have flow to the transfer pump
What is it that you are calling the transfer pump?
On my 2010 it is gravity fed to filters and goes straight from the filters to the injection pump. Are you sure you are getting fuel to the injection pump?

Thanks Lavoy. I have been saturating the bolt with PB Blaster for a few days now. I got the jam nut to come off but not having alot of luck getting the bolt to tighten up some more. I am a little leary of putting heat to the nut as it is recessed inside the casting and I am concerned it may break th...

2010 Idler rebound spring

Ok, that may not be the name for it but that is what I will call it. The manual says that the spring needs to be set at 15" flange to flange. I took one out of my crawler to replace a broken one in my dozer and it measures 16" but the internal spring is not compressed at all. As a matter of fa...

Last time I talked to JD about pads for my dozer they were about $13 and change per pad. My file is out in the barn but it seems to me that I paid about $2200 for new rails for my 2010. I'll check tomorrow when I'm out there. I know I bought new rails, 10 rollers, 2 idlers, 2 idler shafts, 2 top sup...
