Thank you. Paul sent one as well. I have been jibbering with him through email. I am searching your archives for bearing cross references but that is only delaying finding all the clutch and brake guts as mine were not at home when i opened the door.

Marty here. I recently acquired a 1957 Case 310. I know its not a JD but it shares the Gearmatic 8a winch. Its in great shape and with very little work has been building ski trails.
