I believe I am just cutting the bolts. I heard these are some strong bolts. I tried drilling one bolt with titanium bits and got no where. My question is how much will it cost me to have done at a die and cast machine shop.

I live in south eastern ct and I need help with my 440ICD loader. The engines runs great. The tracks and rollers are in good shape. My problem is the steering clutches are frozen. I began taking it apart, but I can't get the finial drive off. One of the large bolts are frozen solid and also a smalle...

FOR SALE IN CT 440 ICD

I think I probably want to sell my dozer. I tried to fix it my self but with no luck. It can go backward and forward with no problem. But not left or right. Engine runs great. Tracks are decent. Have pictures if interested.

Been busy. Its true about that crap secret diesel. No good, BUT THOSE WEBSITES ARE THE BEST. I ended up going with just veg oil directly into engine. new canola oil ran even better then diesel fuel. In this day and age I have been researching bio-diesel fuels and at first I was skepitcal. Now that I have researched I do beleive it is possible. I have found this website www.dieselsecret.com. I am waiting for some stuff in the mail from them and I have to buy about $150 worth of pumps and filters...

Thank you for the info. Yea I tried torch and it didn't even heat the metal. I will try the drill method next. Slow and steady.

My father said I should try to heat the final drive with a torch. So I will try this tomorrow. Wish me luck. If it doesn't work I think I will pour gasoline all over and set the whole tractor on fire and then try it. :) I starting to wonder if I will be able to complete job.

Bad, bad day.. I have found out that the reason that the track is not becoming loose is because the adjust hydraulic tension is rusted threw. I have taken off the cap screw and the allen screw. I tried using a a chain set up to help loosen but no luck. I guess I will have to cut it off. Also on the ...

IT STARTED TODAY!!!! I bought NEW BATTERY AND just had the two batteries together. A little either and it worked.
