I got some shop time this weekend. Started repairing all the shafts for the final drives. Almost every seal surface and bearing fit has to be spray welded and re machined.

When cleaning a final housing this evening, I noticed a small crack starting through a bolt hole. I was thinking of opening it up and brazing it. What kind of shape is the undercarriage in ?

The undercarriage is ok. The idlers have been welded up and machined but could use bushings. Bottom rollers are decent, tops are missing. Track chain needs to be replaced but pads are good.
