With the F and A wires disconnected from the generator I have 7 ohms between F stud and gen body, 3 ohms between A stud and generator body and 3 ohms between A stud and F stud. Would this indicate a problem with the generator?

This is in addition to my below post... I did a continuity check between my f terminal and generator case. I did have continuity, which my information tells me I have a type B generator. I also had continuity from the A terminal to case and between A and B. This doesn't agree with the information be...

Good afternoon all. I have a 1959 440 IC gas that isn't charging. Could someone tell me if this came with a type A or type B generator? I believe i know how to polarize correctly bit I do need to know which type generator it is. If anyone wants to give the procedure for polarizing, that would be OK ...

440 gas reverser jinkage

Good morning all. I recently purchased a 440 IC gas and there was no reverser lever so I assumed it didn't have one Looking at it today, next to the clutch pedal is a roughly 3/4" round shaft with a flat end on it and a hole in the flat part. Could that be part of the reverser and I am just missing ...
